For camping, you can't beat Nacole Gardens for a truly magnificent location.
Set on the inside of Pemba Bay, minutes away from the airport, there is a 100 hectare bush camp right on the beach.
There is a bar where you can get beers and soft drinks, BBQ/braai facilities and clean ablutions. It is tranquil, and there are beautiful sunsets to be seen across the bay. The owner will show you the amazing birdlife on the property, and there is safe swimming and snorkelling in between the mangroves. The sea is usually calm as it is situated on the sheltered inside of the bay.
Although not necessary all year round, a 4x4 is advisable during the rainy months (Dec - April) to get in and out of town.

Nacole Gardens - Pemba - Mozambique One of the most beautiful beaches in the north of Mozambique. Self-catering chalets with en-suite bathroom, no meals are included. A vehicle is required to access here, and food will need to be bought in town.
