Ponta Malongane Top Tree Lodge itself is made out of Zimbiri - a local hardwood - and is nestled in a dune forest. The lodge is fully serviced, and is very luxurious. The views from the decks are breath-taking, and in the East an unspoilt ocean sunrise greets each day, whilst in the West the day closes with beautiful sunsets over the wetlands and lakes in the area.
Long white beaches provide endless walking space. Activities like dolphin and whale watching, snorkelling, fishing off the beach and boat, spear fishing, bird and nature walks in the wetland area behind the lodge are included in the rate. Excluded activities are scuba-diving and horse-riding - although both are easily organised on request. We recommend scuba diving, as this region is famous for its beautiful reefs.
