Swahili Beach Resort

We were at Swahili from 16-23 December 2007 and had an exceelnt stay. The staff was friendly, the food of good quality (especially the Zanzibari buffet) and not overpriced, and the best part was the managers Anna and Ted who were always helpful and available. They really helped to make our stay unforgettable. On short notice, they arranged a special anniversary dinner table for us (without any additional costs), arranged excursions and were always on hand to cater for our everey need - even if only to greet us upon arrival and departure.
Because Swahili Beach Resort is a smaller 'boutique' type resort, their personal touch is evident everywhere, and this sets them apart from the rest. And yes, the dolphins do frolick in the sea right in front of the hotel and swimming with them was very special and we did some good snorkelling here too. A good location and the best value for money we have had in a long while.

16 Mates from Cape Town in South Africa travel to Zanzibar for a friends tour. It was by far the best experience of our lives. What a place!! We were welcomed at the entrance by the entire hotel staff at about 11 or 12 o clock after a very long flight. Ted and Anna took great care of us. we were never short of drinks and our every need was taken care of with an "of course we can" attitude. I cant explain fully how happy we were there. the staff were fantastic, the hotel is beautiful. we had the most fun EVER!! Ted and Anna.... we all miss you guys. We're coming back. if you need a place to stay in Cape Town... give me a shout. ITS KILI TIME!!!
